I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Austin Family Institute who works with families and romantic relationships of all varieties. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
I previously worked as a Research Assistant for Austin Marriage Project, a study that examines how couples grow and change over the first few years of marriage and what factors contribute to strong, healthy marriages. This experience informed my passion for helping others flourish in their lives and their relationships.
At Austin Family Institute, I receive some of the most advanced on-going education and training for Marriage and Family Therapists in Central Texas. I practice using various Family Systems Theories, which I believe best serve my clients, and they help me understand complex challenges from a collaborative perspective. My goal for all clients is to ensure they feel heard and understood in therapy - especially when things get complicated.
I provide affordable counseling to maximize my reach in the community because everyone deserves quality services.
