Nick Bachicha, LPC-Associate
Supervised by Kimberly Wilson, LPC-S, LMFT
Nick Bachicha is an LPC-Associate (supervised by Kimberly Wilson, LPC-S, LMFT) who received his masters degree in clinical mental health at Adler Graduate School, a Minnesota-based school that advocates for the holistic approach to human health and development. He currently works with both individuals and couples, as well as ketamine-assisted therapy.
He has a humanistic style that is person-centered, psychodynamic informed, and draws upon many CBT and experiential techniques. He seeks to understand you by creating a warm and safe place for you to understand yourself, to help you take control of the threads that are consciously and unconsciously running through your system, and to help you get the most out of the life you want to live. While the type of work you do will depend on your unique needs and goals, he has a passion for helping individuals remember who they are, for cultivating hope, and for generating a spark to reignite their roaring flames.
Nick has spent over a decade as a competitive swim coach (he knows all the cheesy life metaphors that go with it!), so swimming is still one of his favorite health practices. He loves listening to podcasts and lectures, reading non-fiction books, as well as writing songs, poetry, and essays. He has a daily practice of meditation and loves walking trails with his corgi cattle dog Reggie – they call them “cowboy corgis”.
Nick is accepting individual, couple, and ketamine-assisted therapy clients. Ketamine sessions are held in person in Central Austin; all other sessions are telehealth.
Nick’s fees are $135/session for individuals and $150/session for couples. He has some sliding scale availability; please inquire if you need reduced fee sessions.
